Ananthagiri Hills in Hyderabad is all you could ask for a quick Getaway in this pandemic

Hope you all doing good. Today am gonna share details about much hyped weekend destination in Hyderabad: Ananthagiri Hills in Vikarabad.

 

Ananthagiri Hills is the most traveled weekend destination from Hyderabad as it is at a distance of less than 100 km. All you have to keep in mind is that, best season to visit this place is in monsoon or there is light showers. The roads won't be best due to rains, but the scenery will justify the pain endured on the single lane roads. Hills, valleys and the fields around the region will be covered with green pastures just like a velvet blanket. Watch this short clip to see what am  talking about.. 

 

 

It is a beginner level trek. So anyone can do it, but remember to carry a bottle of water.

 

Other than trekking you can do Kayaking in the Kotepally check dam. Kotepally check dam is 27 km far from the Ananthagiri Trekking point. Kayaking can be de done throughout the year, regardless of the season. But if you want to see overflowing check dam you have to go in monsoon, and whenever there is high rainfall.
